Annual "No Small Courage" Symposium

The Prudence Crandall Museum and Friends of the Prudence Crandall Museum, Inc., Symposium brings together scholars and historians to discuss a variety of topics relevant to the life and legacy of Prudence Crandall, Sarah Harris and the more than 20 other African-American young women who attended the Canterbury Female Boarding School between 1831 and 1834. Speakers for 2017 include educator, author and Crandall biographer Prof. Jennifer Rycenga; Educator and author Prof. Anna-Lisa Cox. Additional participants to be announced.
