Charles Warner, Jr.

Charles E. Warner Jr. is the current Chairman of the Connecticut Freedom Trail. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Amistad Committee, Inc., and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. He earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from Morehouse College. A New Haven native, he is currently employed with the New Haven Public Schools as a District Behavior Specialist. In addition, Charles serves as the Chairman of the Dixwell Congregational Church History Committee, and is a member of the Yale and Slavery Working Group.
